Inclusion with dignity
We work to reduce the barriers that keep children from learning, with a subsidised fee structure and a commitment to welcoming learners from underserved backgrounds.
For more than three decades, S. Fatima Public School has held to a simple conviction: a child’s opportunity to learn should never be limited by their circumstances.
Founded in 1994 by the late Dr. Nawab Hasan Nadwi, S. Fatima Public School began in Gangoh with a clear purpose: to make quality education more accessible to children whose opportunities were too often shaped by social expectations or economic means.
The school began as the city’s first girls’ school, at a time when girls’ education was not always given the importance it deserved. In 2005, the institution became co-educational, widening its reach while holding firmly to the principle that every child deserves the chance to learn with dignity.
As an independent, unaided school, S. Fatima Public School continues to maintain a subsidised fee structure. Its work is grounded in the belief that equitable education begins by welcoming learners who might otherwise be left at the margins.
The late Dr. Nawab Hasan Nadwi established S. Fatima Public School in response to a need he saw within his community. His vision was not simply to open a school, but to widen access to education and create a place where children, especially girls at the time, could pursue learning with confidence and dignity.
That purpose continues to shape the institution. The school’s history is a reminder that lasting educational change often begins with one person willing to challenge what has long been accepted, and to build something more hopeful in its place.
An education that opens doors must also give children the knowledge, confidence and practical abilities to walk through them.
